About
Tyler Holland is a freelance theatre director and writer from the West-Midlands who has worked extensively in both the North-West and London. Specialising in radical re-imagined classics and musicals, in 2023 Tyler graduated from the prestigious MFA Theatre Directing programme from Birkbeck College, University of London with distinction. His plays have been long listed for the Bruntwood Prize for Playwriting and the Papatango Prize.
As someone who stammers, Tyler identifies as ‘non-fluent’ and looks to connect with other professional, emerging and community artists who have shared similar experiences to interrogate what it means to communicate as humans.

Tyler is currently an ELEMENTAL Artist with The Watermill Theatre, developing their practice in residency as a director over the next 12-months.
